Barry F. Westfall joined Ecoban's predecessor company, Merban, in 1982, where he was responsible for the firm's Mexican operations and global countertrade business. In addition to being responsible for Ecoban's day-to-day management, Mr. Westfall oversees the company's U.S. operations. He is a member of the firm's Executive Committee and Credit Committee. Jean-Yves Baudoin joined Ecoban in 1987, and today oversees the company's activities in Latin America. He is a member of Ecoban's Credit Committee. Stephen P. de Got, Managing Director B.A., Cornell University; M.B.A., Kellogg Graduate School of Business, Northwestern University Experience:
Stephen de Got is responsible for Ecoban's global distribution of financial products. Since joining Ecoban's predecessor company in 1973, Mr. de Got has focused on trading and placement of emerging market fixed income instruments as well as structuring credit enhanced, asset-based loan transactions. He is a NASD Securities Principal. Gary Marcus, Managing Director B.B.A., Baruch College, New York; M.B.A., C.W. Post College, New York Experience:
Gary Marcus is responsible for Ecoban's business ventures in the former Soviet Union ("FSU") and India. The business activity in the FSU is managed from Ecoban's Moscow office, while the businesses in India and South Asia are managed by Mr. Marcus through Ecoban's four representative offices in India. In addition to these activities, Mr. Marcus assists in structuring and implementing the firm's global structured trade finance business. He is a recognized expert in structuring and implementing unconventional trade financing in developing countries that maintain stringent controls on foreign exchange and external lending. Because of his unique experience, he is responsible for Ecoban's proprietary and client trading in the bilateral clearing currencies and related transactions that require financing through these payment mechanisms. Calcutta, IndiaMeteor Private Ltd. represents Ecoban in India. Meteor is owned and managed by Mr. P. M. John and is responsible for identifying and assisting in the structuring of countertrade and trade finance transactions for Ecoban. Since becoming Ecoban's India representative in March 1997, Meteor has identified and assisted in closing transactions totaling more than $100 million. Prior to representing Ecoban, Meteor was affiliated with Phibro, Inc. for over 40 years. Mexico City, MexicoDionisio "Dan" Aneiros, Mexico Representative B.A., University of South Carolina; M.B.A., New York University Experience:
Dan Aneiros began representing Ecoban's predecessor company in 1972 after being involved in various investment projects and real estate developments in Mexico. He now oversees all of Ecoban's operations in Mexico. Before moving to Mexico, Mr. Aneiros worked on Wall Street in the securities business from 1956 to 1962. Christina Chua is responsible for Ecoban's Asian loans and fixed income sales and oversees day-to-day operations in Singapore, including distribution to banks, merchant banks, institutional funds, asset management companies and corporates. |
